Viña del Mar
Viña del Mar is a city unknow for many people including to some experienced traveller.
Viña del Mar is located 2 hours from Santiago in the cost and with Valparaiso form a medium size city of aproximatly one million of inhabitants.
The modern city of Viña del mar contracts with the old city of Valparaiso that are apart for just a one normal street.
The school is located in a priviliged area of Viña del Mar, in a radio of 4 blocks we have more than 50 restaurants and cafes, the beach is only three blocks from the school, and many touristic atraction around.
Ocean and mountain range, small towns, and amazing winerys around make viña the most pleasure place to study.
We offer the same services and standard than to any of our big Spanish Schools.

It is a small school with a unique Family atmosphere, plus the quality and guarantees of ECELA schools. We are located in the center of Viña del Mar a few bloks from the beach, we are in a safe neighborhood that offers many activities during the day and night.

Excursions & Activities
4 activities & excursion per week, 1 free activity per week, student pay only the cost of the activity
The most famous week days activities: City tour in Valparaiso and Viña del Mar, Salsa and Bachata classes, Boat Trip, Pablo Neruda´s House (Sebastiana Museum), Cooking classes, The Zoo and Graffity Tour.
The most famous weekend excursions (2 /3 nights): La Serena and Mendoza.
One day excursions: Vineyard in Casablanca Valley, Trkking to La Campana, Isla Negra, Full day Kayak and Bycicle.
HOUSING with ECELA Viña del Mar
Our Homestay are in the mos safe and famous neighborhood, with a very friendly families.
The homestay offer single room and breakfast an dinner, Double room upon request.
Ecela's shared apartments in Viña del mar are located in very safe and quiet areas of the city, and they all have Wifi. we offer single and double rooms, no meals program (self catering). They are shared with an average of 3 to 5 persons that can be either Ecela students, other visitors from different countries or young locals that are traveling in the country for work or touristic purposes. It is a great opportunity to meet and live with people from other countries and Chile.

First day at the school:
Placement Test: 8:00 am
Class Time: 9:00 or 14:00 depending on your placement test.
Note: Class time is assigned according to placement test. Your class schedule may change during your course.
13:00hrs Welcome snack and orientation. The staff will welcome you at the school.
Airport pick up:
If you book airport (shuttle van) pick up through Ecela you will need to go to the TransVIP counter which is located right before the custom exit. Show your name.
The transfer will take you to the “Pajaritos” bus station where you must buy a bus ticket to Viña del Mar and then take a taxi to the accommodation.
Buses to Viña del Mar departs all day long.
You will need to have pesos chilenos to pay the bus to Viña del Mar (CLP $ 4.000 - U$8)
In Viña del Mar bus Station you will need to take a taxi to your homestay you need to have pesos chilenos to pay the taxi (CLP $ 4.000 - U$8)
