Mendoza
The city of Mendoza is one of the most important in Argentina Famous for its wineries, Mount Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere), and the good weather throughoutthe year. Mendoza is located in the foothills of the Andes mountain range. The culture live in Mendoza is very important. You will find many museums, art galleries and festivals, the most important is La Vendimia in March. Mendoza is a safe city and easy to move around.
The School
It is the ideal location for your Spanish immersion, close to many restaurants, bars, cafes, , museums, cinemas and shops and just a few blocks from Parque San Martin. We are in an upper-middle class neighborhood and is safe at all hours.
Our school is comfortable, in a moder two flor house, with a spacious patio with BBQ area and terraces. We have 6 classrooms and several common areas with free Internet access where our students can enjoy their free time.

ECELA was founded in 1999 in Buenos Aires, ECELA Mendoza was founded in 2009 and since them we have many students who succesfully finished their Spanish program with us.
The Spanish Program, accommodations, excursions and ongoing support are always taken care of by the dedicated and friendly staff at ECELA. We assure you that your comfort always comes first.
Excursions & Activities
The most famous week days activities:
BBQ welcome party, wine tasting, salsa dancing lessons or tango, city tours, museum visits, etc.
Day trips (weekends):
Aconcagua walks or High Mountain Park, Hot Springs Cacheuta, Rafting on the Mendoza River, horseback riding through the vineyards, bike paths wine, visit the lagoon Llancanelo, etc.
The most famous hiking weekend (2/3 nights):
South of Mendoza: Caverns of witches in Malargue, Andes Expedition, Valle de Uco: visiting wineries and high end rename Salentein Domain Bousquet and O'Fornier , San Juan: Valley of the Moon.

Our Homestay are in the mos safe and famous neighborhood:TEXTO BSAS Palermo, Recoleta and Barrio Norte
Buenos Aires is a large city with differents areas, be in a safe part of the city is very important.

The homestay offer single room and breakfast an dinner, Double room upon request.
The shared apartment option: we have three ECELA houses in Buenos Aires, the students shared with 2 to 12 other ECELA students, in the high seasson we also place students with local host.

First day at the school:
Placement Test: 8:00 am
Class Time: 9:00 or 14:00 depending on your placement test.
Note: Class time is assigned according to placement test. Your class schedule may change during your course.
13:00 hrs Welcome snack and orientation. The staff will welcome you at the school.
Activities & excursions:
Every week the school organizes four activities. At least one activity is free while the others are economic.
Airport pick up:
If you book airport taxi pick up through Ecela you will need to look for the BRISAS representative. He will be holding a sign with your name. Tell your name and show the address of your housing.
NOTE:
1. DO NOT accept a ride from any other taxi driver.
2. Remember to have your accommodation’s address available at all times for the driver.
3. Check-in for accommodation at all locations is available upon request, if you do not inform us 72hrs before of your arrival time, open check-in is between 4pm and 6pm.
4. If your flight is late (more than 90 minutes) please call us to re-organice your check in.
